new taste

ive made pumpkin mix with beef, skinned n seeded tomato with lil bit of chinese parsley...and the best part is...the pumpkins in not boil...but..it was bake to perfection! gile sedap weh...makin manis n bau dia wangi sgt!

couscous

hari ni mama bagi faris cuba couscous....

sedap...ewah...mama dah rasa..

mama mix couscous tu dgn sweet potato, celery and chicken...

x de gambar....lupa nk ambik

ok juga faris mkn...habis lebih 1/2 jar kaca tu....walaupun biasanya kalau mkn pumpkin tu 1 jar tu memang licin...first time...kire cun dah tu...

mama x blend pun couscous tu...dia boleh mkn dah.. Alhamdullillah...

pastu mama buat fruity yoghurt lagi...kali ni apples, pear and plum yoghurt.....belum suap lagi.....mesti dia suka...pantang sua yoghurt...memang habis 1 pot tu....:-) masyaAllah

new taste

today ive made a sweet potato and pumpkin yoghurt....he just love it...

ive mix the pure with the natural yoghurt....

it taste nice...even i like it...:-)

his first taste of broccoli

When I make the puree.. pumpkin, carrot and broccoli.. I dont actually fancy the smell. I dont like the smell of cooked broccoli. but for the sake of healthy eating.. I just cooked it and swallow it without fuss. haih..why good thing taste n smell not so good. :-(

and I was like.. I dont think faris will enjoy this...if he got my nose lah kan....bentuk dah ada....hahaha...

but to my suprise...ewah... he actually love it. lichin dia mkn.

Alhamdullillah.. masyaAllah...

well2....that's add up to his new menu. yeeehaw!...

I just cant wait to go to jusco... I need some couscous.. banana and dates.

heinz baby food

Faris baby food is varies from home cook which is 80% of it and instant food like baby cereal or jar baby food.

At home, i just cook him homemade baby food from pumpkin, apples, sweet potato, raisins, carrots, celery, apricot, banana, papaya, oats and rice. I havent start him on any animal protien yet, im planning to do so when he turns 8 or 9 months old.

As for the instant baby food, ive choose brown rice cereal, apple n cranbarries cereal and prune with oats cereal. I choose those with iron fortified cereal to topup iron supply as my breast milk iron content is not enough after 6 months old.

When we went eating out, i usually buy the jar baby food from heinz.

Its like a habit for me to taste the food first before giving it to my baby. I want to know the taste that im feeding to my baby. So i can anticipate the reaction.

Out of all the baby food. Jar food taste the worst!

They have certain smell and the taste does not resemble the thing that they said they have put inside it.

They are just too sour or too sweet.

I really dont fancy buying those jar baby food, unless i really need to. Esp when we have unplanned eating outside.

Mommy out there, please do cook you own baby food as much as you can, tapi kalau x boleh tu, nak buat macam mana.

When we cook it our self, we know what is inside there and we know it taste better and its fresh!.

Faris, i will try my best to feed you only the best. Hari2 masak, setiap meal lain2. Just for you :-)

new tropical taste

Today ive introduce faris to a new tropical taste. Papaya.

He just love it.

I mix papaya with grapes to cut down the sweetness.

7 months : time for his first finger food

Alhamdullillah, faris is 7 today, as usual, new months means new food, today is rusk as his first finger food. Will try and make homemade rice biscuit later. I just need to if he is ready or not.

So, i think he is masyaAllah :-)
